DIY Mini Pattered Notebook

Do you ever have an amazing crafting idea come to you when you are shopping, waiting at the doctor's office, or right before you go to bed? I can not tell you how many times this has happened to me. I always think "I will totally remember this!", only to completely forget it 10 minutes later.  I really hate when this happens!

It's time to be prepared when your amazing idea strikes! This DIY mini patterned notebook is the perfect size to slip into your purse or keep in a drawer next to your bed. Heck, you could store multiple notebooks all over since these are pint sized! The Duct Tape really reinforces the spine of your notebook. If you want you could cover your entire cover with Duct Tape for super duper protection!

Head on over to Blitsy to snag your Duct Tape now!

Have you ever forgotten an amazing idea that you thought you would remember?

Here's what you'll need:
- 8 1/2x11 White Printer Paper
- Baker's Twine
- Hole Puncher
- Metal Brad
- Scissors

Let's get crafty!

Step 1: Cut a piece of patterned paper that is 9.5 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall. Cut all of your printer paper 8 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall.

Step 2: Place your printer paper on the inside of your patterned paper. Punch two holes about an inch from each end. Run your baker's twine through the holes from the outside in. Then, tie a knot on the inside.

Step 3: Take your Duct Tape and cover the spine of your notebook and trim the ends.  If you really want to get crazy, add some duct tape to the cover of your notebook!

Step 4: Punch a hole in your front cover and insert your brad. Tie your baker's twine to your brad and wrap it around your book a couple of times. Then, wrap it around your brad to secure it.
